Last day in Germany- Nymphenburg

On our last day in Munich we visited the Nymphenburg Palace.

This a another great meal my cousin cooked for us prior to leaving. I asked for this recipe and he mumbled something like there is none (he didn't want to share).

all in all, so much fun! Looking forward to coming back to Munich.

This trip was so exciting-seeing Karl in Paris, clubbing in Berlin's skyline, visiting family in Munich...

It was also no doubt an exhausting vacation and it feels great to be home :)

Bavarian brunch

When on a Sunday, you find yourself in Bavaria, you go for a Bavarian Brunch. It's the ultimate Bavarian experience.

We went to Nürnberger Bratwurst Glöckl am Dom (all I know here is that wurst means sausage), where amongst very Bavarian things we had Weißwurst, Munich's specialty, the white sausage.

This is how the place looks like. The waitresses wear traditional Bavarian costumes clothing (like the woman in the white blouse on the picture), you sit at a big square table (maybe even next to people you don't know), have pretzels as appetizers and admire little home-made mustards on the table.

A really cool store my ubercoolundergroundhipster cousin (pictured in brown leather jacket) brought us to on Saturday. You see, the manager/buyer Valentino (pictured in tan leather jacket) is a friend of his. Valentino has been working for projϑct.3 since it opened, ten years ago. He is so passionate about what he does, he made me discover numerous Copenhagen and Stockholm brands like DAY by Birger et Mikkelsen and HULT♡UIST (which make really nice jewelry). He travels a lot to nordic countries and is always on the lookout for what is new and cool. What can I say? A true fashion expert. Sweet and funny on top of that. Next time I'm in Munich, I'm coming prepared.
